Dear BPV families:

Bettendorf-Pleasant Valley Youth Baseball is continuing to plan the 2020 season. We intend to be prepared to launch the season as soon as circumstances allow.

You can help us do this by completing your BPV registration as soon as possible so we can plan for the correct number of teams to accommodate your player. Refunds are available if needed, but space always is limited after April 1 for any late sign-ups.

We will be forming teams in the coming week for the Coach Pitch, Kid Pitch and Juniors divisions.

Player evaluations planned for April 1-2 at the TBK Bank Sports Complex have been postponed. Alternate dates for the player evaluations or other options for forming teams in the Minors (current Grades 4-5) and Majors (Grades 6-7) divisions will be determined.

The start of BPV practices will be delayed until April 13 when schools are back in session, with expectations of games starting May 4 for Coach Pitch, Kid Pitch, Minors, Majors and Juniors. The Seniors division (ages 15-20) starts two weeks later (please have those sign-ups in by an April 19 player’s meeting).

The BPV Coaches Clinic planned for Sunday, March 29 at the Bettendorf High School baseball facility also has been postponed for a later date.

We will continue to update you as we receive more information and guidance from our health officials.
